Been searching for a good Chinese take away in Borehamwood since we moved here 18 months ago. Must say from the outside it doesn’t look appealing but gave it a go and the food was superb. Gave it another go and yet again, another awesome meal. Food super hot, fresh and very tasty. We’ve kicked our old place into touch. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

The best Chinese takeaway I have discovered. Great taste, good portion sizes and seem to keep their prices more affordable than others in the area. I have not personally been there but get the food delivered, which is another plus as the other Chinese takeaways I don't think in the high street deliver. Update 12 Feb 2020..Its been a while since ordering a takeaway, but that's only because I don't live on them. So I've noticed prices have increased by 10p to 30p per item, but you know what..I'm sure every other takeaway has increased their prices as well and New Lantern House is still great value, whilst many of the Chinese takeaways skimp on the meat to make savings not NLH. Its still the number 1 Chinese takeaway for me.

I love this Chinese, definitely my fave in Borehamwood and not as pricey as some. 10/10 would recommend. Do deliver but not on any apps. Normally pretty quick if collecting.
